Niki here, again. Yianni's got a too much work to blog today, although he might find time to watch the game :| hm. He's storyboarding, i think he's almost done, he's dreading the pitch tomorrow. I'm sure he'll do great. aaaaanw.. I am going to cook and then continue doing my digital drawing. If you check out my page on the right in a few hours you'll see the painting I finished a few days ago. Yianni will also put up his work on the blog so keep checking it out!

Half is Resting, One is still working

Niki here. After a full couple of weeks working on the Villa Emba Crew Promo for New Years Eve we're taking a small break and just relaxing and taking it a bit slower, well, Half is relaxing. One has a pitch for his final year animation project on Monday and so he has a lot of work to do.. Today is Saturday and I'm just drawing doodles on my graphics tablet. More artwork coming up soon!

ManMade- Stop Motion Animation

ManMade is the first short we made together, experimenting with stop-motion. It was made using toothpicks, cut into small pieces and collated together into making the form of a tree. It was inspired by the frequent fires in Cyprus during the summer period.

Like ants

An early 2009 stopmotion animation of tiny ant people walking through the screen amongst giants.. This clip was done using photography and thoroughly edited in image editing programme. 

Inside a hollow tree

We wrote and illustrated this fairytale book on gender equality for a competition organised by UNESCO.. this was back in 2009 but I think it was the first official collaborative work we did and we loved it!
