Στρουθοκαμηλισμός

Στρουθοκαμηλισμός = Τρόπος συμπεριφοράς που αναφέρεται στο εξής παράδοξο: παρότι κάποιος βλέπει τον κίνδυνο, αντί να τον αντιμετωπίσει, προτιμά να κάνει ότι δεν υπάρχει, ελπίζοντας ενίοτε ότι το πρόβλημα θα λυθεί μόνο του.


Ostrichism = Way of conduct which is based on the following paradox: although one sees danger, rather than confronting it, one prefers to pretend it isn't there, hoping that the problem will solve itself.
