She found Prince Charming

Prince Charming is a stock character who appears in a number of fairy tales. He is the prince who comes to the rescue of the damsel in distress. This character is often handsome and romantic, a foil to the heroine, and are seldom deeply characterized, or even distinguishable from other such men who marry the heroine. "Prince Charming" is also used as a term to refer to the idealized man some people dream of as a future spouse. Five of my cousins got engaged this year! Five!!! Three of them found their prince charming and two of them are princes! :) Congratulations to you all! I love you.

Its Yiannis' birthday today!!!! He is 25 today! His wish to his 50 year old self is that he be happy whatever path he's on in his life, whatever he might be doing. So I wish him the world of happiness and health!

Snowing in London, a lot

It's snowing!! or it was snowing when we started doing this digital painting but now it's stopped. Buuuuuut we're up and running again. Yianni is working but still drawing, Im studying and working but would like to keep drawing so there you go, we're going to try and keep up. Did you slip and fall on your butts yet? I've seen a couple people so far.

Flower girl

Goodmorning everyone! Havent had time to paint or digital-paint for a while. We're both really busy with work etc. I'm in Cyprus now and its nice and sunny and beautiful and wherever I go there are bloomed flowers and butterflies!! Enjoy it while it's still spring because come June- expect drought and dried leaves. :)

The Real Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is a day where people are suppose to celebrate love... BUT people buy chocolates, flowers, teddy bears, sexy lingerie la lala lalalala lalal lal la 

The primary motive behind Valentines is MONEY. And plenty of it! Hallmark is cleverly cashing in on the sales of Valentines Day greeting cards. The same with people who sell flowers, candy and cute cuddly bears. Society forces you to feel obligated to celebrate a day which alienates half the population and puts the other half in financial stress... People now expect gifts to be exchanged in a Valentine’s ritual. Giving gifts to make someone feel special should have personal motives- motives of honestly trying to make that person feel good, not a commercialized ritual which society expects.... When it comes down to it Valentines is a overrated capitalistic invention by Hallmark to make money..

So happy unimaginative, consumer-oriented and entirely arbitrary, manipulative and shallow interpretation of romance day everybody!!!!

Its valentine's day today!! A lot of people organise activities especially for this day, whether it's a romantic dinner, a trip or even a party, there's a whole host of events taking place everywhere... Who doesn't like a little romance? It's a day where you're supposed to celebrate love................. ... ........ ....

Home alone

Social networking can be a good means for business, marketing and communication. I accept and embrace this. What i don't understand is the public logging and posting of everyday routine and actions, your whereabouts, and your interactions. I find posts like "Jo is having burgers with Bill, while they're playing footsie at McDonald's Soho, London" or "Just got my payslip and will be walking to the bank in half an hour to deposit it", incredibly stupid. Got no problem with Jo and Bill and their footsie, or that you got your payslip - unless you owe me money - but who the f**k cares?? Maybe robbers, rapists and killers.. that's who! So maybe you'll get a few likes from a few no-lifers that you probably interact with them only through FB or Tweeter. Or maybe your friend who is sitting right next to you and that's even more annoying, since he's freaking sitting RIGHT NEXT TO YOU! 

It's recommended to think before you speak... well.. it was recommended.. now people don't really talk so that's not an issue.  So now its probably best to say: THINK BEFORE YOU POST!

Some of these examples might be extreme, but I've seen similar in the past and I'm sure you have too.
